Universal Tower Defense Z guides

Every Universal Tower Defense Z guide we have published, with what each one covers and what it deliberately leaves out. Three guides so far, and we say why the list is short.

TL;DR
Three guides are live: a first-hour walkthrough, a free-to-play team guide, and the codes how-to. Each one states what it could not verify instead of filling the gap with a number. If you are new, read the first-hour guide, redeem the codes, and come back for the team guide once you know what you pulled.

The guides we have published

Three, and each one earns its page rather than padding a count.

What is not written yet

Because a guide index that hides its gaps is just a menu of things you cannot rely on.

Gem farming, gold farming, trait reroll thresholds, whether the battlepass pays for itself: those are the guides people search for most, and every one of them needs a number we have not confirmed. Writing them from a video thumbnail would be quick and would make this hub look complete. It would also make it useless the first time somebody acted on it.

Not verified yet. Farming rates, currency income per stage, trait reroll odds and battlepass value are all unconfirmed. They become guides when we have run the counts ourselves, and they will carry the date we ran them.

How we decide a guide is ready

Three tests, and a guide that fails any one of them stays unpublished.

  1. Can we name the source for every claim? If a sentence needs a number and the number came from nowhere we can point at, the sentence goes.
  2. Does it say something the codes page does not? A guide that restates a data page is a duplicate wearing a hat.
  3. Does it survive a patch? Update 4.0 invalidated a lot of published advice overnight. Guides built on the shape of the game outlive guides built on this week's meta list.

FAQ

Why are there only three Universal Tower Defense Z guides here?
Because those are the three we can source end to end. A guide about farming or the battlepass needs numbers we have not confirmed, and we would rather ship three guides that hold up than twelve that quietly guess.
Which guide should a new player read first?
The first-hour guide. It covers the match loop, what to redeem before you spend anything, and the upgrade order that decides whether your shards were worth spending.
Is the redeem-codes guide the same as the codes page?
No, and they are separate on purpose. The codes page is the list with dates on it. The redeem guide is the how-to: where the button is, why a code fails, and when new ones tend to appear.
Do the guides get updated after a patch?
Yes, and the update date sits at the top of every one of them. Update 4.0 rewrote the top of the roster, so anything written before 9 July 2026 that has not been revisited is suspect, including on other sites.
